Introduction

C14415 Copper Tin Alloy Strip (CuSn0.15)

C14415 is a low-tin copper-tin alloy strip with electrical conductivity close to that of pure copper (≈83% IACS) but improved mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It is widely used for lead frames of power ICs, automotive radiators, refrigeration heat sinks and switch sockets.

Key Features & Advantages

  • High conductivity ≈83% IACS / 330 W(m·K), near-pure-copper current capacity.
  • Better strength & corrosion resistance than pure copper.
  • Good bendability for stamping and heat-sink forming.
  • Stable performance under thermal cycling.
  • Excellent for high-heat-dissipation electronics.

Typical Applications

  • Lead frames for power ICs (chips)
  • Automotive radiators
  • Refrigeration heat sinks & fins
  • Switch sockets and electrical hardware
