Is C19400 the same as CuFe2P?

Yes. CuFe2P (CW107C) is the European designation for the same alloy that UNS lists as C19400 and JIS lists as C1940. Composition limits differ very slightly between standards, so state which specification applies if your drawing references one.

What is the electrical conductivity of C19400?

Approximately 60–65% IACS, depending on temper and processing history. Annealed material sits at the upper end of that range.

Can C19400 be plated?

Yes. It is routinely tin, silver and nickel plated. The zinc addition is one reason the alloy is favoured for tin-plated automotive terminals.

What thickness range is available in strip form?

Common connector and lead frame gauges run from 0.10 mm to 1.0 mm (0.004–0.040 in). Thinner and thicker material is produced, but tolerance classes and edge options change with gauge.
