Alloy number alone is not enough to get a comparable quotation. A complete enquiry states temper (O60, H01, H02, H04), thickness and width with tolerance, edge condition, surface finish, coil weight and inner diameter, and the certificate required — typically EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate covering chemistry and mechanical properties.
